Akshay Kumar to collaborate with Wamiqa Gabbi in Priyadarshan’s Bhoot Bangla- Report

Actor Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi are all set to team up for his upcoming movie Bhoot Bangla which is been directed by Priyadarshan. According to the report, Akshay will be working with three actresses in the movie and Wamiqa is going to be one of them. Reportedly, Wamiqa has given a nod to the movie and the team will begin the shoot by next year.

As per the Pinkvilla report, Wamiqa’s character will add more laughter to the story and everyone is excited to have her around. The report quoted a source close to the production as saying, “Wamiqa has impressed everyone with her work in the digital world, and is now all set to make it big in the theatrical medium with films like Baby John, followed by Bhooth Bangla. She has signed the dotted lines and has a solid role in Bhooth Bangla, which will evoke laughter among the cinema-going audience.“

In September, Akshay Kumar announced Bhoot Bangla with director Priyadarshan. He penned a heartfelt note saying, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!“

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have worked together in movies like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala and De Dana Dan. The last movie they worked together was for Katha Meetha which also starred Trisha.
